Tool

Open Graph Preview

Source

Enter a URL and the tool reads its Open Graph and X (Twitter) meta tags, then shows how the link card will look on Google, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Discord, Slack and WhatsApp. Edit title, description, image and the other fields — the previews and the generated meta tags update as you type.

How to use

  1. Enter a page URL and press Fetch — or switch to Paste HTML and paste the page’s <head>.
  2. Review the Checks: missing tags, title and description length, image size.
  3. Adjust the fields under Edit tags until every preview looks right.
  4. Copy the Meta tags block into your page’s <head>.
  • og:title — under 60 characters
  • og:description — 110 to 160 characters
  • og:image — absolute URL, 1200×630 px (ratio 1.91:1), JPG or PNG
  • og:url — the canonical, absolute URL of the page
  • twitter:card — summary_large_image for a large image, summary for a thumbnail

Privacy and safety

URL mode fetches the page once through this site’s server, which only extracts the meta tags — nothing is stored. Paste mode runs entirely in your browser. Fetched values are displayed as plain text only, so markup or scripts inside foreign tags can never run on this page. Platforms crop and cache cards in their own way; these previews are close approximations, not pixel copies.
